If you do not experience the power of the Spirit, though He actually dwells in your heart, it is you lack reverence. And you lack reverence because you have not held to the fact of His Never Leaving presence. Some Christians are living victorious lives while others live in a state of constant defeat. The difference is not accounted for by the presence or absence of the Spirit (for He dwells in your heart and the heart of every child of His) but that some recognize His indwelling and others do not. True revelation of the Spirit's indwelling will revolutionize your life.
(1 Cor. 6. 19, 20). This verse will take you to a stage further, for once you have made the discovery of the fact that you are the dwelling-place of God, a full surrender of yourself to God will follow. When you see that you are the temple of God, you will immediately recognize that you are not your own. The difference between a victorious life and a defeated life is not that others have the Spirit while you have not, but that some know His indwelling and others do not, and that some recognize Gods Divine ownership of their lives while others are still their own masters.
