Jesus said, “It is finished.” He was talking about you.

To bring your life into agreement with Jesus requires careful attention and time. It is a constant review of your actions and attitudes in comparison with the Word of God. The more you strive to live in harmony with God day-by-day, the less likely you become completely unsettled when trouble arrives.

Jesus declares you innocent before God. So your sins are covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ which makes it “just-as-if” you have never sinned. To live by faith, you have covered yourself in the Blood of Jesus so God does not see your sin therefore He does not make a requirement of you to pay any penalty or price for your sin. When you were an unbeliever you lived in fear of repayment for your sins, not covered under the Blood of Jesus because through disbelief the Blood had been rendered insufficient. A commitment to Jesus made your sin invisible to God because faith covered you through the Blood of Jesus. Whatever you were whatever you were facing is not punishment able. The Blood of Jesus is enough!

Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. “It is finished.” He was talking about you. Your mistakes, faults and failures were erased in that moment. Your inability and insufficiency accounted for in an instant. Immediately you were made right with God through the Words of Jesus as He gave His Life just for you. The more you know and understand the Purpose of Jesus what was fulfilled by His Death and Resurrection, the more faith you will develop. Such faith has the ability to make sense of your life as the missing factor you have been looking for. Life reconciled with God satisfies the soul. Life makes more sense when God is a factor. Without the Lord, it is like trying to balance your checking account without the bank statement or not having all the receipts from your purchases. It just doesn’t add up! With Jesus, not only are your sins forgotten, but they are no longer subject to accusation from your enemy. Your account has been settled. You are debt-free.
