You must be confessing your sins, living your life according to the word of God; keeping an open and strong relationship with God that will keep you in the spirit realm instead of the natural mind of the flesh. The bible says “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path”.
All of life’s problems, all of your disappointments and all of life’s mishaps, can be over taken by God’s love, you see the depth of where you’ve been won’t leave you out in your time of need, the doctors, lawyers; they can’t do what God can. The world can’t explain God’s ability to complete what the doctors can’t do, what the judge can’t grant, what the teachers can’t show, what the medicine can’t fix, what the preacher can’t explain, they all after exhausting their human ability have to say it’s in God’s hands, no one, but God can receive the credit of any true miracle.
Mark 4:35-41
The Cross Over
35On that same day [when] evening had come, He said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. 36And leaving the multitude, they took Jesus with them, in the boat. 37And a furious storm of wind of hurricane proportions arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled. 38But He was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do you not care that we are perishing? 39And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still! And the wind ceased and there was [immediately] a great calm. 40He said to them, Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith? 41And they were filled with great awe and feared exceedingly and said one to another, Who then is this, that even wind and sea obey Him?
The disciples were scared during the storm, but they were petrified when they realized that this Jesus guy in their boat was actually the Lord over creation!
If Jesus could transform a raging storm into a calm and tranquil lake, they were probably in shock to think what Jesus might do with them. But it took the storm for them to realize who Jesus really was. The same is true oftentimes with you. It takes a few storms in your life to recognize the calming hand of God guiding you through those times. The rain falls on the good and the bad; the storms happen upon all. It makes all the difference in the world who you have in your boat during the storm.
God knows exactly where you’re headed in your trip to the other side and you have no reason to fear the storms of this life. Remember if he can transform a raging storm into a quiet calm, think of the possibilities he can do with you!
