It is sin living in you that’s pulling you

When you want change but you don’t know how to begin START HERE. • Admit to yourself that something is seriously wrong in your life and that you have made a mess of that area in your life and admit that you’ve been playing games with yourself. • Realize that your life has become unmanageable in many ways and that in that area of your life you are not in control anymore. • Admit that you keep doing things that you later regret you do them and then tell yourself that you will not do them again. But you do. You keep on doing them, in spite of your regrets, your denials, your vows, your cover-ups and your promises.

The Bible says it like this in Romans 7: 14 You know that the law is spiritual, but you are not spiritual since sin rules you as if you were its slave.15 You do not understand the things you do. You do not do what God wants you to do, and you do the things He hates.16 And if you do not want to do the hated things but you do, that means you agree that the law is good.17 But you are not really the one who is doing these hated things; it is sin living in you that does them.18 Nothing good lives in the part of you that is earthly and sinful. You even want to do the things that are good, but you do not do them.19 but you do the bad things you do not want to do.20 So if you do things you do not want to do, then you are not the one doing them. It is sin living in you that does those things. 21 So learned this rule: When you want to do good, evil is there with you.22 In your mind, you are happy with God's law.23 But you can see another law working in your body, which makes war against the law that your mind accepts. That other law working in your body is the law of sin, and its purpose to makes you its prisoner.

In spite of all of the failures in your life - all of the broken promises, there is still hope. There is hope because greater is He that is in you than you that is in the world and with Christ all things are possible. You are incapable of doing it yourself, you need God’s help. Philippians 3:13-14 says: forget those things which are behind, and reach forth unto those things which are before, press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”.

You must be honest with yourself and say you can’t change this thing on your own, you’ve tried it and you’ve made a mess of it. You don’t have it all together and you need to change. Let it go. Make a conscious and willful decision to turn your will and all your life’s circumstances over to the care of God. 1st Peter 5:6-7 says “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for He cares for you”.

TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. When you look in the mirror and don’t even realize who you are. A spiritual vale has been placed over your eyes so that you are blinded to the truth. The devil wants to humiliate you. He wants to destroy your reputation, separate you from those that love you; he wants to leave you out there in sin to die all alone. Remember Nothing Changes if you don’t make up your mind that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired. You must make the beginning choice to change. From lost to found. From hurt to healed. From sad to happy TAKE THAT FIRST STEP.
