You attract the lost with your spirit of gratitude.

Because the world is so dark and depressing and ungrateful you attract the lost with your spirit of gratitude. Look at the world they are so discouraged. Yet if you can learn to be different, upbeat and thankful, you will attract them. Showing those in your life that you have something they don’t. 1 Peter 2:12 "Live such a good life among those who don’t believe that they may see your good deeds and glorify God.

Try to quit complaining for a whole month. Just try it. When you feel tempted to complain, instead of telling the world of your complaint, tell others of your thankfulness. It will change your life. Philippians 2:13 says, “Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you will shine like a star in the universe.”

DEVELOP THE DAILY DISCIPLINE OF GIVING THANKS. In order to be thankful you need to start to give thanks every day. You need to discipline yourself to find something each day that you should be thankful for and express you’re thanks to God. Create a journal or a file on your computer where you list the things God has done for you. Call it a praise file. Thanksgiving must become a daily habit in your life.

Ephesians 5:19“Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything.” Always is the key word. Not just once in awhile.

If you own one Bible, you are abundantly blessed, because a third of the people in the world do not have access to a Bible. If you awoke this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than 1 million people who will not survive the week. If you have never experienced the danger of war, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or starvation you are more fortunate than 500 million people on earth. If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head, twenty dollars in your pocket and a place to sleep you are richer than 75 percent of the world. Ask God to forgive you when you whine.

1 Timothy 4: But God created all these to be received with gratitude by people who hold fast to the faith and really comprehend the truth. 4For everything God made is good. That means nothing should be rejected as long as it’s received with a grateful heart, 5for by God’s word and prayer, it is made holy.
