If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone

And then Jesus straightens up and says, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." In other words, ’if you have all your ducks in a row, if you’ve never done anything wrong, if you’re better than everyone else, then go ahead. Be my guest." John 8:11 Be honest you are in no position to judge. Because you are in need of God’s grace just as much as the people you want to criticize! It is odd how much each one desires a second chance for themselves but often are unwilling to extend that same second chance to someone else who needs it.

"Go now and leave your life of sin."Even though she showed no indication that she was ready to become a Christian, Jesus offered her a new lease on life. A second chance to become the woman of faith that God always wanted her to be.

The same Jesus who extended a second chance to the people of His day is extending a second chance to you today. You may say: you have no clue about the bad things I have done in my life. I’ve done some things that are so wrong, that I can’t see how God could EVER give me a second chance!"

God’s message for you is "Yes, I am giving you a second chance. Neither do I condemn you, go now and leave your life of sin."
You might be guilty of the same cynical spirit the Pharisees had. There’s someone in your life that has you all riled up. And you’re ready to throw the book at them! You’re ready to let them have it for the not so nice way they treated you! God’s message for you is "I’m giving you another chance to let go of the bitterness inside of you. Neither do I condemn you, go now and leave your life of sin."

And perhaps you are guilty of doing the same thing the woman was guilty of doing. Or a sin you can’t see how God could EVER give you a second chance on. Others might not even know about it yet. But God Almighty knows all about it. He knows that you feel guilt and regret. He knows that the stress associated with the unconfessed sin is eating you up inside. God is giving you another chance to get it off your chest, a chance to come clean a chance to start over. A chance to repent of your sin and to leave it with God in His grace, a chance to walk out of this absolutely free and absolutely forgiven.

If you apologize before Almighty God and put an end to that sinful deed, if you bring it to the foot of the cross, you will hear the gracious voice of Jesus, saying "Neither do I condemn you. Go now and leave your life of sin. I forgive you."
