The final judgment of all who die lost.

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT - At the end of the Millennium, all unbelievers will appear before the Great White Throne of God, where they will be judged according to their works (not sins). At this time, all unbelievers will be ultimately condemned based upon their unpardonable sin of rejecting Jesus Christ as Savior. Having in effect made the decision to stand on their own human merits, God will judge their human good and find no righteousness. (Rev 20:11-13) These verses describe the final event of all of human history. God is putting the last period on the last sentence of the last paragraph of the last page. This is the final judgment of all who die lost, never having repented and never having received Christ as their Savior.

The awesome and final judgment. There is no pleasure whatsoever in even thinking about ANYONE being thrown alive into a lake of fire for all eternity. Also: God takes no pleasure in it either…God never made hell for people…hell was created for the devil and his angels, and the people who end up in hell will be those who reject God’s way of escape, and never get saved. God doesn’t send people to hell…sin does…and so all must accept His salvation from sin!

It will be the darkest hour of human history…this is the supreme court of the universe! All the lost will be judged, and after the verdict is read, it is final…there will be no appeals. The sentence is a life/death sentence—a death row and torture chamber wrapped up in one, with no end for all eternity.

The lost will be standing before this throne and will be overcome with Gods incredible sense of power. Some talk in this life about what they’re gonna tell God when they see Him face to face…oh no they won’t! The person who never got saved will not be able to do anything but weep and tremble. Their mind may go back to each time they took His Name in vain, but they won’t be able to use it in vain on this occasion. They may think of jokes they told about hell, but there will be no joking on this day. They may remember the way they used to think about hell, but the reality of what it’s really like will now sink in.

All will realize that everything they ever lived for on earth is gone forever, everything they put before God is gone, all their possessions, all their pleasures, popularity, prestige, all their family, their children…gone…disposed of…and they are left with God alone, Who now must dispose of them!

Many on that day will stand before God and want to say, “I’m a good person.” But that will mean nothing compared to His unapproachable purity. The only way you can be pure enough to stand before God is to be washed in the blood of His son Jesus! You either put Him on the throne of your heart in this Life, or you’ll stand before His Great White Throne on THAT day.

Desperately want change.

Some people change when they see the light. Other people change when they feel the heat. Which type of person are you? Do you change when you see the light, when you see something in your life that you recognize? "You know, I really need to change that; I really need to work on that." Or do you put if off because, "You know, it's really not urgent now." Do you wait until you feel the heat?

Sometimes you just don't have a real desire to change. Sometimes you don't have a real desire, and desire that is the key because it's very easy to wish you were different, to wish you were different, to kinda, sort of hope you can change. It's safe and secure, it's easy. How much do you really desire to change?

"All have said I would do anything to change." No, you just wish you could. It is wishful thinking. A couple of things that you have to look at if you want to really desire to change; you must first of all despise sin. Oftentimes it's easy to see things in your life that you "kind of" would like to change, wish would change but you don't despise it yet. You don't see it the way God does.

If you’d like to change it, then ask yourself: how much do you despise it? How much do you despise it, or is it just an annoyance? Maybe it's something that you just hope no one else ever finds out about you. Or is it something that you desperately want to change because you hate it and you see how it works and can see the results of that kind of thing. And maybe you’ve seen scripture of what God thinks about it and you want your mind to be like His. How much do you despise it?

And in order to desire change you must look to the end and see the result of change from it. Look to the end. See the result when you do change. Matthew 18. Change brings reward. It's far greater than the pleasures of whatever sin is today, you might know that, but how much are you really focused on that reward? Have you really focused on what happens after this life as a result of being willing to struggle to change? To begin to escape sins control, you have to despise the sin, and you also have to deeply desire change and be able to see the end result from that change.

"If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into the next life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, (to) be cast into hell’s fire." The principle is how far are you willing to go. Are you willing to really struggle, and overcome, and change?

When you think of the things that you want to change, Do you want to change them badly enough that you're willing to do what it takes, to go through the struggles you’re going to face, to endure the pain of change? If you don't despise it yet you’re just wishing for change. Desperately want change, despise it because you hate sins control.

You can be overtaken by a bad habit before you even know it.

"That's the way I am. That's just the way I am. I'm always angry. I'm always negative. I'm always lacking faith. It's just me. It's the way I was born. It's the way I am. It's the way I've always done things."

It is easy to carry on the same ways of doing things, the same habits. It’s easy to get into a rut in your life and basically say, "Well, that's just the way I am."

"The chains of habit are too light to feel until they're too heavy to break." You can get into a rut in your life and "the chains of habit are too light to feel until they're too heavy to break."

You can be overtaken by a bad habit before you even know it. It takes seven times of repeating something to develop a habit. But it takes thirty times of not doing it to unbreak that habit. It's easier to get into a rut; it's easier to begin and start a habit than it is to get out of it, and so you can ride in those same ruts very easy.

What about the excuse? "I tried to change, but it doesn't work." It didn't work, "I tried to change, but it didn't work." That can be discouraging when you pray about something, when you recognize it and you want to, you wish it were different but it just doesn't seem to change. It's easy to get into a habit, or get into a way of thinking that, "Well, I'm going to fail if I try and change that because I've tried to change it before."

Sometimes sins can be like ball and chain. You learn to live with it because you've occasionally tried to break away but it didn't work and you begin to have that attitude, "I've tried to change but it just didn't work."

Ask yourself, "How much effort, have you really put into it?" Praying about a problem is very important, but is that all there is in your spiritual arsenal? Is that all the strength and muscle you can put behind it? Oh, no - there's a whole lot more. There are very practical things you can do in your life. Stay away from temptation; fasting, doing a study on the issue, there's a lot of spiritual strength that can be put into changing. So it's important to ask yourself, are you really putting everything that's in your spiritual arsenal to deal with it?

Sometimes you don't see the urgency to change. Sometimes you just don't see the urgency to change and it's important in your life as a overcomer to recognize there is an urgency to it and not put it off.

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous person their thoughts..." So, you're to forsake not only what you do that's wrong but the way you think that's not in line with God. He says, " Return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on you.

The Holy Spirit doesn't exist to fulfill your desires.

Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit^: But Jesus told you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. (John 16:7 NIV)

When Jesus Christ left, "the Comforter"/"Supporter"/"Advocate" (the Holy Spirit) came in His place. The Holy Spirit is, SPIRIT, and has never been a bodily being like Christ. The Spirit has no limit of time or space. The Spirit is able to work within your mind and through your activities, in the everyday realm everywhere. Jesus does what could only be done by a bodily being who is in the Spirit, while the Holy Spirit does what a bodily being can't do.

The Spirit draws you into the presence of Christ, even to the point of creating a relationship between you and Jesus that can be so close that to speak of being in union with Him does not have to be blasphemous. The bond between you and the risen Jesus Christ is a bond sewn by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit won't live in someone who chooses to sin in spite of conscience, or who has no love in them. The Holy Spirit is not found where sin has its way.

The Spirit 'indwelling', it means being in close relationship, and close relationship demands that you reveal not just will and message, but something of your very self. The heart, the character, and the love of God is revealed to you in creation, in the covenant with the Jews, and then in God's Son, Jesus Christ. Getting you to grasp this is the job of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit doesn't exist to fulfill your desires. Christ is not like some parent spoiling His children with presents and permission to mess around and do what they will. God is not here on human terms for human whims or even the grandest of human purposes, and can't be trapped inside your word games. Yet God is a God of gifts, a Spirit of a true freedom with the discipline and responsibility needed to be truly free, a God who wants you to dream and envision, describe and learn about, a God whose purposes are the only ones worthy of pursuit, His mysteries are the only ones worth probing.

He knows your gifts in you, ‘He’s saying: Come on. Go after it.

Some have the hope that God would change your circumstances and fix your situation. God is more concerned about changing you than your circumstances. Understand that God will allow keeping you in these difficult circumstances because He’s changing you. You see, it’s about your character. God loves you so much He doesn’t want you to stay where you are. It’s this new person that He wants to make you. Remember how He’s given you everything that pertains to life and godliness because those are the things that He wants from you. He wants to see His children godly. He wants to see His children with grace and peace multiplied upon them. And that comes from knowing Him. That comes from becoming like Him. And so you must make every effort towards these things. And then the other stuff will happen, but here’s the important question. Do you want to change? Is it the desire of your heart?

That’s a huge, huge question, and it has to do with your attitude. Are you thinking in your mind, ‘I get to change’ or ‘I have to change’? In other words, is this what you want? You know, the Holy Spirit came into you, and you get to put off all these deeds of the flesh, or are you thinking, Do you have to stop drinking? Do you have to forgive? Do you have to stop watching those movies? Do you have to.

Those types of questions reveal a heart that is not about Get To but Have To. It reveals and gets you to question. ‘Wait, so I don’t actually want to be saved from the old Me? The flesh actually hopes you can keep some things and still get to heaven?’

The master in you actually desires the things that are right and good for you. That doesn’t mean you don’t get tempted because you’re still in this fallen world and the flesh is still with you. But the Bible says you don’t have to be that person anymore, and you’re given a new nature, and now you have everything you need to live this godly life. So go for it. Go for it. And make every effort because you get to.

You have the potential to be an amazingly godly person. You have the potential of being such a honorable, self-controlled, persevering, knowledgeable person that lives holy. And that’s why the Bible says you have that potential now, because the Holy Spirit’s in you, go after it one hundred percent. Don’t quit on those things. Make every effort towards it. That’s what God want for you. He knows your gifts in you, ‘He’s saying: Come on. Go after it. You’ve been given something,’ He has given you His Spirit. He’s given you an ability to be so holy, so righteous, so worthy, so don’t believe the lies that you can’t be this, you can’t be that. Yeah, you took some wrong turns, but here’s what the Word of God is saying. Ok, now make every effort toward the Heavenly things.

It starts with faith. You have to believe that God not only gives you this new desire to want righteousness, but He gives you the power that enables you to achieve it.

You can still get there. But now listen to God this time.

You may have taken some wrong turns in life. It’s easy all do it. Just hear the Holy Spirit saying, ‘Reevaluate. He will still get you there. It’s going to take a little longer now, but I’ll still get you there.’ That’s what the Word of God does for you. It gives you a new set of directions. At some point, you have to listen though. So if you have gone some wrong directions, Learn this about God, He’s saying: ‘Yeah, you went the wrong way, but I’m not here to just yell at you and tell you that you screwed up. I’m just saying I’m recalculating your life now for you and I’ll give you a new set of directions and I’ll see to it that you still get there. You can still get there. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. You can still get there. But now listen to God this time.

“Make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they will keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that they are blind, having forgotten that they are cleansed from their former sins. Therefore, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you practice these qualities, you will never fall. For in this way, He has richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom.” [2 Peter 1:5-11]

Scripture says make every effort, it’s like bringing all your effort, bringing all your eagerness, to increase your faith with virtue and your virtue with knowledge and your knowledge with self-control. He names all these things that have to do with who you are, and He says make every effort toward this. “If these qualities are yours, if these character qualities are yours and they’re increasing, that’s what will keep you from being ineffective or unproductive.” See, when you’re the right person, things are going to happen. You’re going to produce the fruit. You’re not going to be ineffective. Things will happen in your life.

Just try to be the person that God wants you to be, and all the other stuff just starts happening. And all the results that you haven’t even strived after, these things just start happening. The Word of God will cleanse you again. And then you can stop trying so hard to fix this, to achieve that, to accomplish that. Just go back to becoming the person that God called you to be, and make every effort toward it. Be diligent.

You need to recalculate your life because maybe you’ve been too focused on what you want to do rather than on who God’s called you to be. Pursuing and praying hard and making every effort and bringing all your zeal towards these character qualities in your life making them your number one priority.

Engage your mind before you engage your mouth

The words you speak affect the world around you. What you say, and how you communicate with each other has lasting results. The words you speak can give life, hope, and love. Or, they can bring death, division, and destruction. Proverbs 18:21 Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. Once the word is gone forth from your mouth it’s too late to take it back. Scripture say’s that you are to be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger. In other words engage your mind before you engage your mouth and don’t let what you say be the result of anger. When you are angry you say things you know that you shouldn’t say and later regret what you say.

Warning: Watch Your Words for every idle (careless) word that you speak, you shall give an account on the Day of Judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Matt 12: 36-37  

To tame the tongue and have a careful watch over your speech is so important that the bible gives instructions concerning what comes out of your mouth. Scripture is telling you that a mature Christian Has Power over The Tongue. You can measure the maturity of a Christian by the content of their speech. 1 Corinthians 13:11 When you were a child you spoke as a child, you understood as a child, you thought as a child, but when you became an adult, you are to put away childish things.

Your words have tremendous influence and control over your life. Look at your conversation. What do you like to talk about? What do you talk about the most? You shape your words and then your words shape you. The tongue is small, it’s tiny. And because it’s tiny you think it’s insignificant. But it has tremendous power. Your tongue controls the direction of your life wherever you want to go and a little bit of a word or a phrase can influence the total direction of your life.

The tongue not only has the power to direct where you go but also to destroy what you have if you don’t learn to control it. It’s like a fire. Your words can be devastating to others: Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:20 "You have to live with the consequences of everything you say." Words can create a chain reaction. You can say something that you didn’t mean to have any harm, but it can have devastating effects that are beyond your control.

The tongue is a deadly weapon.
No human can tame the tongue, But There is one who can, God is able to tame and control a lying Blaspheming, slanderous, gossiping, backbiting and destructive tongue. As much as He is able to deliver the drunkard from his alcohol, the gambler from his gambling, or a drug addict from his drugs. God is an awesome God can do anything that you will allow Him to. There has to be willingness on your part to surrender and yield your tongue to the Lord Jesus. Listen for the Holy Spirit’s Voice inside you; engage your mind before you engage your mouth.
